As you may or may not know a new trailer was released for mass effect 3 and I have got to say they are really helping sell the game well, Bioware are doing an excellent job and I for one cant wait for this game maybe even being one of the best games of all time

The final edition to the epic trilogy, Mass Effect 3 is almost here! We got an amazing new trailer yesterday for Mass effect 3 so feel free to watch and prepare to be in awe at its awesomeness

As you may tell I love Mass Effect this really is the Star Wars of gaming its packed with probably one of the best stories in a game ever and some intense RPG action, you craft your own story as you go even being able to carry your character from game to game which makes an even more epic adventure if you have never played Mass Effect before then I demand you to buy this game when it hits shops!

Gotham Imposters Review!

Its here my anticipated review off Gotham Imposters, this game is a first person shooter
which bases its ideas on what many off us want to do ourselves dress up as Batman (or Joker if your an evil person) and fight crime! This game I was wasnt expecting to be an amazing game but I was infact really surprised at how fun this game actually is!

Presentation
This game contains a very interesting graphics style, it can only be described of resembling the kind of graphics featured in Team Fortress 2. This is indeed great as it really helps give Gotham Imposters a really feel of comedy which is what the game is going for, this also adds to this game managing to bring something different to the market dominated of serious shooters and lets players try something new.

The sound within this game is a mixed bag really, there is some really interesting sounds which do help add a comedy feel to the game. I do believe this game does need a much improved soundtrack but this isnt a huge problem.

Now to the main problems with this game, the matchmaking system I always had problems with it in this game sometimes you may be waiting 10+ minutes just to get into a game, even then it may not even be a full lobby. This is such a huge problem as it really does take away from how people enjoy this game.

Gameplay
The gameplay is something very similar to the likes of Call Of Duty being that the games only feature is online, means Gotham Imposters really needed to make gameplay something special which I do believe it does. The game features many unique features in its gameplay with some real interesting Gadgets which really bring some unique and funny moments, for example the glider really good fun when you and a couple friends are going around in a squad all using the glider. For an arcade title there is enough guns and other items to make it worth the money you will pay. The different body types can also make a big impact on how you play the game giving people many unique play styles compared to fellow gamers.

Final Verdict
9.0- A really solid title and probably one of the best arcad games to date a real treat for fans of FPS games and Batman fans, if you havent already try out the trial and maybe even purchase the game if you enjoy it Gotham Imposters really is worth the money and your time!

Yes I'm back surprise!

A new Halo 4 reveal may be coming later this month. Finnish magazine Pelaaja is reporting that Microsoft will hold a Spring Showcase on February 29th and that a Halo 4 reveal is coming.

For now, nothing has been confirmed and this can only be taken as a rumor but I'll be sure to keep you informed if anything happens this month!

NEW XBOX RUMOURS!
Last week was a really big week for rumours of the new xbox, Some of the hardware going into powering the device was leaked this week.

Six times as powerful

This is reported  by IGN so thanks to them, the new Xbox will feature AMD's Radeon tech powering its graphics. Specifically, the system will feature hardware similar in juice to the Radeon HD 6670, a chipset that offers DirectX 11, multidisplay output, 3D, and 1080p HD output with a market price around $79.99.

What this essentially means is that the system will offer raw processing power that is six times that of the Xbox 360, and 20-percent more powerful than Nintendo's upcoming Wii U. Also according to Scott's sources, dev kits based on the final configuration will be in the hands of developers in August.

Blu- Ray

As we know Blu-Ray is a very big feature at the moment being the latest craze, well its rumoured that Blu-Ray will be arriving on the new xbox which will vastly improve the xbox's capability.

No Used Games?

 

This is something that I'm unhappy with, the rumor is unconfirmed at this point, as are any specifics of how Microsoft would be able to prevent used games from working on the platform. Im sure many like me would be unhappy with this feature due to people like me wanting to get a game slightly cheaper will no longer be able to do so.

 

No More Microsoft Points?

Many gamers find Microsoft Points to be a system that almost always results in unused points and "spare change" that can't be used on anything else. This system has worked on platforms such as the Playstation 3 so this could be a change for the better

FINAL FANTASY XIII - 2

The predictable and highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster Final Fantasy XIII, is close to release. Only a couple of days ago did Square Enix release a prerelease demo for XIII-2, so I decided to kill some hours and have a try at it over all I was impressed with it definitely an improvement over the last final fantasy 13 which personally I didnt enjoy very much but I may just invest in this game if I do I will be doing a full review on the game on my thoughts.
The new game comes out with a mountain of goodies depending on what edition you buy, if you pre-ordered the game and where you are in the world. These range from: a four disc soundtrack, a concept art collection, a one-disc soundtrack, six postcards, replica large-print art of Lightning, a t-shirt, lithograph cards, a novella, and the game itself.

Sorry but today is gonna have to be a quick one seeing as though I am really ill right now but hopefully I will be back soon posting more. Anyway for today I thought I would give a quick blog on something non game related which is the walking dead. I can not wait for the second half of season 2 to begin again I was quite surprised at the ending of the first half since it turned out Sophia was a zombie (Spoiler!)  I really did not expect this at all but I really was thrilled with the ending of the first half. I have to admit I thought the first half in places did drag on a little but the ending really made up for it leading to my main discussion of where will this second half go? what will happen to the group of survivors we know and love? There is only one way to find out which is by tuning in 12th of February!

Hi guys just thought I would post this topic about halo withdrawal, it may be dawning on you that we still have to wait god knows how long for Halo 4. I for one cant wait to see these new enemies we are fighting, how they will develop the Halo universe and many more points that there is just too many to write down in this short post of mine but hopefully in the coming months we may get some info on Halo 4 the sooner the better!

MINECRAFT LEGO SET OFFICIAL

Yes thats right people you heard me correct! It has been decided to go on with the plans for the minecraft lego set I for one cant wait to see what they come up with!

My first post will be my thoughts on the Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning demo. I saw this game and to be honest I did not think much of it when I took a little glance but playing this demo I can see there is some potential within the game, it has all the basic mechanics you would expect from a fantasy genre game such as being able to play as the iconic thief, Mage, Warrior and archer which surprisingly in the demo you get to expirience all of these and I have to say they all work really well. Unlike most other RPGs you actually can play all these roles at the same time the only other good example of this I can think of is the Fable series which infact the combat in both does have some similarities but apart from all this the demo doesnt offer much else apart from some mindless killing and gaining some minor loot.

 I cant say what the gameplay will be like later on in the game but as I said before this has potential to be a good game download it see what you think. Something else mass effect fans will be happy with is you will recieve some armour and a weapon for playing this demo so thats a good reason to download it anyway and check out this game. So I hope you have enjoyed my first post and please keep following this page as it will help my blog grow!
